Sistem Penunjang Keputusan Pemilihan Supplier pada PT Fusina Indo Karya Menggunakan Metode Simple Additive Weighting

In a competitive business era, the choice of quality suppliers is crucial to the success of a company. PT. Fusina Indo Karya, as a contractor service company, faces challenges in the process of selecting suppliers that are currently still done manually based on intuition and relationships, thus posing various problems such as delays of goods, inappropriate specifications, and poor warranty service. The research aims to design and implement the Best Supplier Selection Decision Support System (SPK) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methodology with the Rapid Application Development system development approach. (RAD). The construction sector in Indonesia shows steady growth, contributing more than 10% to GDP even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the quality of the construction result depends heavily on the process of selection of suppliers. Therefore, SPK is proposed to improve the accuracy of decisions by identifying and formulating relevant criteria in the selection of suppliers. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to provide weight assessment on each criterion, while the RAD methodology is used for rapid and flexible development, facilitating the intensive involvement of stakeholders. This research is expected to make a significant contribution in improving the operational efficiency and quality of projects at PT. Fusina Indo Karya, as well as be a reference for other companies in optimizing the selection process of suppliers using information technology.
