Analisis Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Investasi di Kalangan Mahasiswa

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the empirical effect of financial literacy and financial behavior on investment decision-making among economic students. The population in this study involves active undergraduate students, with a sample size determined through quantitative criteria. Data collection was carried out through structured questionnaires using a Likert scale, and the data analysis method applied was Multiple Linear Regression analysis, processed via SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on investment decision-making. Similarly, financial behavior also demonstrates a positive and significant impact on students' investment decisions. Concurrently, both independent variables significantly influence the dependent variable, showing a strong model fit. The implication of this research highlights that higher financial knowledge combined with disciplined daily money management habits leads to wiser and more rational investment choices, minimizing high-risk financial errors among young investors.
