Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, while the coverage of Breast Self-Examination (BSE) early detection among women of reproductive age (WRA) in Pemalang Regency, Indonesia, remains low at 6.34% of the 10% target. This condition is partly influenced by the limited knowledge of WRA regarding BSE. This study aimed to determine the effect of educational videos on BSE knowledge among WRA in Blendung Village, Ulujami District. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach was applied without a control group. The sample consisted of 48 WRA aged 30–49 years selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable 28-item BSE knowledge questionnaire (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.881) and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test at α=0.05. Before the intervention, respondents had sufficient (62.5%), poor (25.0%), and good (12.5%) knowledge levels. After the educational video intervention, good knowledge increased to 54.2%, sufficient knowledge to 35.4%, and poor knowledge decreased to 10.4%. The Wilcoxon test showed Z=-5.542 and p=0.001 (p<0.05), indicating a significant improvement. Educational videos are effective in increasing BSE knowledge among WRA and are recommended for reproductive health promotion programs.
