Perancangan dan Implementasi Website Profil SMPN 3 Kresek sebagai Media Peningkatan Akses Informasi Akademik dan Non-Akademik

The rapid development of information technology has made a website-based school information system a primary need rather than a complement, particularly for delivering academic and non-academic information professionally, transparently, and accessibly. SMPN 3 Kresek still relied on conventional methods, such as physical announcement boards and manual record-keeping, which caused delays and limited the reach of information, especially for parents and the wider community. This community service activity aimed to design and implement an official profile website for SMPN 3 Kresek as a centralized digital information medium. The development method combined a Software Development Life Cycle approach using the Agile Scrum model with React JS and Next.js frameworks, followed by four training sessions for teachers and administrative staff covering digitalization awareness, website navigation, content-management dashboard operation, and hands-on practice. The activity was carried out on 5 June 2026 at SMPN 3 Kresek. The result is a responsive and interactive school profile website, accessible at https://www.smpn3kresek.com/, which presents the school profile, vision and mission, staff directory, activity gallery, and a news portal. The website has resolved the mitra's inefficient and undocumented information distribution, improved the administrative staff's digital literacy in managing content independently, and strengthened the school's public image as a technology-literate institution. It is recommended that the school allocate an annual budget for hosting and domain renewal and that future development add features such as online student admission (PPDB) and an integrated academic information system.
