Abstract

Social transformation, advancements in information technology, and the currents of globalization have brought about significant changes in various aspects of life, including church leadership and ministry. In this context, integrity is a crucial factor determining the quality and credibility of a Christian leader. This article aims to examine the essence of Christian leadership characterized by integrity—drawing from biblical perspectives and theological and leadership literature—while also explaining its relevance in navigating the dynamics of the times. The study employs a library research method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, analyzing scholarly sources related to leadership, Christian ethics, and theology. The findings indicate that integrity is a fundamental character trait manifested through the alignment of faith convictions, character, speech, and behavior, all centered on the example of Jesus Christ. Leaders possessing integrity are able to build trust, exercise leadership transparently and responsibly, and make positive contributions to both the church and society. Therefore, character formation and spiritual maturity must be primary focuses in theological education and the development of prospective church leaders.
