Penguatan Islamic Parenting melalui Pendampingan Pengelolaan Penggunaan Gadget Pada Anak

Penggunaan gadget pada anak meningkat pesat dan sering tidak terkendali, sehingga orang tua menghadapi tantangan dalam mengatur screen time, konten, dan pendampingan anak. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat Islamic parenting melalui pendampingan pengelolaan penggunaan gadget pada anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan partisipatif melalui focus group discussion (FGD), workshop, konseling keluarga, coaching, role play, home visit, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan melibatkan orang tua, guru, dan tokoh masyarakat di lingkungan madrasah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan meningkatnya pemahaman orang tua tentang prinsip Islamic parenting, tersusunnya kesepakatan keluarga tentang penggunaan gadget, terkendalinya screen time anak, dan tumbuhnya komunikasi keluarga yang Islami. Orang tua lebih mampu mendampingi anak dalam menggunakan gadget secara bijak, selektif, dan sesuai nilai-nilai Islam. Implikasinya, model pendampingan ini dapat diterapkan di madrasah, sekolah, dan komunitas parenting untuk memperkuat peran keluarga dalam menghadapi tantangan digital.
