Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity and competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Sorue Jaya Village, Soropia District, Konawe Regency through a productive business digitalization model in support of Sustainable Development Goal 1 (No Poverty). The program was implemented in response to low digital literacy, limited market access, simple product branding and packaging, as well as limited business management and financial record-keeping. The method of activity uses a participatory approach through coordination, field surveys, needs identification, socialization, training, practice, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. Interventions include digital marketing through social media and marketplaces, simple financial record-keeping, product development, packaging and branding, as well as strengthening village MSME collaboration. The evaluation results showed that on average, participants' understanding went up from 39% before the activity to 82% after, a 43-point jump. The biggest improvements were in using social media to market products, basic financial record-keeping, and using marketplaces, each shooting up by 45 points. This shows that digitalization paired with hands-on support can boost MSME capacity and open up market opportunities. Keeping the program going will need stronger institutions, strategic partnerships, and regular mentoring so digital transformation keeps helping village economies grow and supporting the achievement of SDG 1.
